Free Wheelchair Project

WorldChanging.com, a website focused on the promise of technology to build a better future, is running a story about the Free Wheelchair Mission, a non-profit organization based in Santa Ana, CA, that provides “the transforming gift of mobility to the physically disabled in developing countries.” In other words, wheelchairs. How? By using roughly $42 worth of parts, including a plastic resin patio chair, bicycle wheels, and some casters.
